MidAmerica Productions celebrates their 41st season with the return of the New England Symphonic Ensemble, performing the U.S. premiere of Paul A. Aitken's Missa Pro Terra, conducted by the composer. On the 40th anniversary (to the day) of MidAmerica Productions’ first ever concert, founder and general music director Peter Tiboris conducts Beethoven's triumphant Symphony No. 9 in D minor, and maestro John Rutter, CBE, leads choir and orchestra in his Magnificat. Celebrate 40 years of musical excellence with the New England Symphonic Ensemble, combined choir, and distinguished soloists.

The New England Symphonic Ensemble, led by Charlene Pauls and featuring choruses from around the country, performs Mendelssohn's Psalm 42, Op. 42. Then, Jeffery Goolsby conducts Dvořák's Te Deum and Ēriks Ešenvalds' Trinity Te Deum. Nancy Klein takes the baton for Poulenc's Gloria, followed by Elisa Fraser Wilson directing Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna. As part of MidAmerica’s Ensemble Spotlight Series, the Tomball Memorial High School Choir and Orchestra performs Boyd’s Four Future Memories, Grainger’s “Lisbon” (from Lincolnshire Posy), Martini’s Domine, Ad Adjuvandum me Festina, and Opportunity, a world premiere by Reginal Wright.
