A Nebraska native, Jonathan Mueller serves as Assistant Director of Program Development at MidAmerica Productions. He holds a Master of Music degree in Conducting and a Bachelor of Music Education in Voice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Jonathan has over 20 years of experience as a church musician and conductor, leading adult and youth choirs in worship and concert programs across a wide range of repertoire, from sacred and classical works to contemporary and newly commissioned pieces. His leadership has included directing church choirs, collaborating with instrumentalists and guest artists, and building strong programs that highlight the role of music in spiritual and community life.

In addition to his church work, Jonathan has been active in the broader choral community, singing with and helping conduct regional ensembles and community choirs. He has also taught at the elementary, secondary, and collegiate levels, including service as Assistant Choir Director at Ankeny Centennial High School and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he conducted major ensembles and coordinated choral festivals.

Now at MidAmerica Productions, Jonathan brings this breadth of experience to the ensembles he works with, helping them prepare for and present performances that embody artistic excellence, collaboration, and the joy of music-making on some of the world’s greatest stages.

Jonathan and his wife, Kristina, live in Nebraska with their son, Anderson.
