The EUROMA CLASSICA MUSIC FESTIVAL will debut on June 19th in Rome Italy. The festival, presented by MidAmerica Productions and IUMA Management in Rome will present international artists performing classical orchestral and chamber music, operas and recitals. The debut season will present Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia featuring an international cast of singers and members of one of the Eternal City's most renowned orchestras, the Rome Philharmonic Orchestra. The Orchestra returns to the stage for an All-Mozart program, "In Celebration of Mozart." The cast of the Rossini production will repeat the performance on July 14 and 16 in Syros, Greece as part of Opera Aegean. Says Peter Tiboris, MidAmerica Productions' Artistic Director and General Director, "The EUROMA CLASSICA Music Festival brings together outstanding artists from around the world to perform some of the world's most beautiful music in one of the world's most beautiful settings. We are delighted to present the first season of this annual festival with such a distinguished collection of artists."

Peter Tiboris founded MidAmerica Productions, Inc., in 1984 with its first concert on January 7, 1984, which also served as his New York debut, conducting the American Symphony Orchestra and the Louisiana Choir in Rossini's Stabat Mater and two contemporary works by Dinos Constantinides. As an independent producer of classical concerts, MidAmerica presents soloists and choral and instrumental ensembles from around the world in New York's Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, and Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

In 2000, MidAmerica formed Opera Aegean, a training program and opera company based in Greece. In its first season, 21 promising artists studied and performed under the guidance of famed baritone Sherrill Milnes, and co-directors Carol Castel and Nicolas DiVirgilio. In the summer of 2001, legendary soprano Martina Arroyo gave a master class and spent 10 days participating with the artistic staff of Opera Aegean. In 2005 Opera Aegean will present Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia on the Island of Syros, Cyclades, Greece.

I.U.M.A. Management is an international management and production company representing a wide variety of singers, conductors, stage directors, instrumental soloists, orchestras and other attractions. In addition I.U.M.A. Management creates, develop, organize events, productions and special projects and act as tour impresario for orchestras and soloists worldwide, including tours for Italian violinist Uto Ughi with I Filarmonici di Roma in Croatia, Spain, Italy, Turkey; the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Bratislava; I Virtuosi di Praga; The Prague Radio Choir; The Budapest Symphony Orchestra; the Berliner Symphoniker; the Brasilia Symphony Orchestra; The Rome Philharmonic Orchestra; and the Royal Baltic Symphony Orchestra of Stockholm. I.U.M.A. has produced of three Opera Festivals in the Rock of the Castle of Vigevano (MI) and the Lake of Lecco, in Copenhagen (Denmark). I.U.M.A has produced a number of operatic and concert events in Italy and throughout Europe.

The Rome Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the four orchestras of Rome and one of only 27 orchestras throughout Italy. The RPO represents the "Eternal City" as an international ambassador performing the world's finest orchestral literature. It promotes the richness of Italian musical art and culture by featuring artists of the operatic stage, advancing performance artistry and scholarship, and creating an archival legacy through its recordings of earlier operas and orchestral music. The Philharmonic impacts its audiences through concerts, festivals, education and special programs, serving people in the local community, as well as nationally and internationally. In Rome, the Orchestra has performed in some of the most extraordinary and exquisite buildings and settings of architectural splendor, including the Rome Auditorium "Pio" in Via della Conciliazione, in Navona Square, and Teatro Olimpico. Additionally, the Orchestra has toured throughout Italy, Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria and Croatia.

Following its recent recording of Puccini's Il Tabarro, the RPO also released a the original, unedited version of Leoncavallo's Zaza in 2001; La Traviata, featuring the star soprano Eteri Lamoris; and a collection of arias featuring the dutch soprano Lisa Houben.
