Ed Lojeski, conductor, is a graduate of the University of Southern California and the
California Institute of the Arts. He has performed as a soloist with the Los Angeles
Philharmonic; Houston; Indiana; Kansas City; Sun City; Hollywood Bowl; Pasadena; Santa Monica;
American Youth; Fresno, Burbank; Highland Park; and Glendale Symphony Orchestras. He has also
served as a pianist, a conductor and an arranger for Roger Williams; The Singers Unlimited;
Johnny Mann Singers; The Temptations; The Coasters; The Diamonds; The Letterman; The Chordettes;
The Crewcuts; The Chiffons; Sha Na Na; The Nicholas Brothers; Tony Martin; Cyd Charisse; Frankie
Avalon; Peggy March; Leslie Gore; Darlene Love; Johnny Mathis; Johnny Carson; Connie Francis;
Ann Margaret; Robert Goulet; Andy Williams; Carole Lawrence; Sally Strothers; Mel Carter; JM J.
Bullock; and such diverse personalities as Foster Brooks; Charles Nelson Reilly;and Elvis
Presley. Currently he regularly conducts and performs shows at the Wayne Newton Theatre,
Stardust Hotel, and Las Vegas.
Mr. Lojeski has produced and written shows for Wink Martindale; The Cerebral Palsy Telethon; Basil Rathbone; Buddy Ebsen; Sarah Vaughn; Dennis Weaver; Don Rickles; Buzz Aldrin; The Holland American; and Norwegian cruise lines. From 1965-1976, Mr. Lojeski taught music in the Las Virgenes Unified School District. During the 1990's his compositions were featured on over 30 game shows in the United States, Europe, Canada, and Mexico. In addition to composing and performing music for television dramas and sitcoms, he collaborated with Dale Wasserman, who was responsible for writing the screenplay for Man of La Mancha, in writing a musical set in America during the mid to late 1800's western expansion. At former president Richard Nixon's funeral, his compositions were performed by the Navy Chorus and Orchestra. On Sundays, Mr. Lojeski leads the choirs and the orchestras at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Westlake Village, California, where he is the director of music ministries.
